MATERIAL CALCULATION FOR M20 GRADE
HI Friends,
This is civil engineers Blog…
Today I am show you post here Materials calculation of M20 Grade of concrete….
How we can calculate the Quantity of material in M20 grade of
concrete okay …
Let’s start so very rough concrete we have here M20 , because we
have to find out the material calculation for M20 grade of concrete…
M2O
So ,M stands for mix and 20 is the characteristic compressive strength of concrete after 28 days okay.
So 20 means 20 Newton per mm square is the compressive strength of concrete after 28 days okay,
Let’s start,
M 20 is the grade of concrete which ratio is 1 ratio 1.5 ratio 3 okay, one is cement and 1.5 is sand and 3 is aggregate.
Assume that we will find the materials calculation for 1 cubic meter (1cu.m),
Suppose I have to find out the material in one cubic meter for
M 20 grade of concrete okay, so 1 cubic meter..
We know that,
Dry Volume = Wet volume x 1.54 to 1.57 times wet volume of concrete.
So Dry volume is equal which while you multiply one point five four to one point five seven times with volume of concrete so this is the formula to find the dry volume.
sum of ratio = 1 + 1.5+ 3 = 5.5
So, sum of ratio for M 20 which ratio is 1 ratio 1.5 ratio 3
okay..
M 20 is equal 1 plus 1.5 plus 3 okay, is equal 5.5 is a sum of ratio for M 20 grade of concrete,
Now change 1 cu.m volume to dry volume,
SO this is the 1 cubic meter okay ,in which I have to find out the material…
So now convert it to the dry volume,
so what will be the dry volume so volume multiplied 1.57 because I’ve already told you that weight while you multiply one point five four to one point five seven times weight volume of concrete.
one multiply one point five four so total volume or drive volume for M 20 grade of concrete is here one point five
seven cubic meter okay,
Now find the volume of cement..
cement volume = (1/5.5) x 1.57 = 0.285m3
So Cement volume is one divided by five point five so
one is the M20 cement ratio, okay this one is a
cement and five point five is the sum of ratio of M20
so one divided by 5 point 5 multiplied one point five seven okay,
What is one point five seven, one point five seven is dry volume okay…
cement volume = (1/5.5) x 1.57 = 0.285m3
So when you do the calculation by a calculator here so
it will give you zero point two eight five meter cube.
volume of cement kg = 0.285 x 1440 = 411 kg where 1440kg/m3
Now volume of cement in kg so this is
the value multiplied is the volume zero point two Eight
and five this one cubic meter multiplied 1440 okay ,
It will give us 411 kg so what is 1440 we’re 1440 kg is the density of the cement okay,
NO of cement bag = 411/50 = 8 no of bag where 50kg is weight of cement one bag
Now numbers of cement bag required okay..,
So for 411 divided by 50 okay so it will give us
eight numbers of bag,
volume of cement..
cement volume = (1/5.5) x 1.57 = 0.285m3
volume of cement kg = 0.285 x 1440 = 411 kg where 1440kg/m3
NO of cement bag = 411/50 = 8 no
Another one we have here volume of sand
Sand volume = (1.5/5.5) x 1.57 = 0.471m3
So say into 1.5 in ratio of sand so 1 point 5 divided by five point five, five point five is the sum of the ratio of M20 Grade, okay multiply one point five seven so it will give us zero point four seven one meter cube,
Now we require to find out the volume of aggregate
Aggregate volume = (3/5.5) x 1.57 = 0.856m3
volume is equal to three divided by five point five three
is the aggregate ratio here okay,
five point five is the sum of ratio in M20 grade,
So multiply one point five seven is equal to 0.856 meter cube
so these are the calculation to find out the quantity of material in M 20 grade of concrete for one cubic meter .
All the best bye….
