Overview[]
The appearance of these Soul Spheres are grey statues of low polygonal men, crouching down with the Soul Sphere on their back. Their arms are outstretched and holding the ball in place. These may be a reference to the Titan Atlas in Greek mythology, who was condemned to hold up the sky for eternity.
Soul Spheres are 4 colored orbs scattered around corners of the map. These orb colors are red, green, blue, and purple/pink. Once fully powered, they unlock the Element 115 upgrader and can help defeat tougher zombies.
Usage[]
In order to power the 4 Soul Spheres, you need to kill zombies near them. Once you kill a zombie near a sphere, a lightning bolt shall hit the zombie body and color an opaque sphere. When a Soul Sphere is fully powered up, the sphere should be colored solid, and any kills near the sphere won't send out anymore bolts. A single Soul Sphere requires 100 zombie kills near it to fully power in all difficulties.
A quick gauge on which Soul Spheres are full or not are displayed on the Model 115 Upgrader. 4 spheres with various transparency should be perched on top. A full sphere should be glowing in their respective colors.
It's advised to kill larger groups of zombies at once near the Soul Spheres, preferably with a launcher weapon, or grenades. This also works best in conjunction with the Instant Kill powerup enabled.
