Overview[]
The Minigun is a Tier 9 Heavy Machine Gun in Zombie Uprising that can be obtained for $40,000 and one of the two Heavy Machine Gun in game, the other is tier 10 M2HB.
The Minigun has the 3rd highest RPM among all weapons in-game as well as the biggest magazine in-game. This allows it to be continuously fire at an alarming rate without depleting ammo too fast. Moreover, the Minigun also has the largest ammo reserve among all weapons in-game.
Tactics[]
The primary disadvantage of the minigun is it has rather minimal damage per shot, though the high RPM it offers makes up for its subpar damage. Hence, the Minigun takes a longer time to kill considering it requires a large number of focused shots to kill a zombie. It is best used for point grinding swarms, as it can earn the player assists from damaging a large amount of zombies at once.
Despite its large ammo reserve, the Minigun can drain ammo at an alarming rate which requires the player to top off rather often. Combined with a long reload time, a minigun user can become an easy target in battle if they are careless with their ammo management. This particular pitfall can be managed with speed reload perks and attachments, cutting down the cumbersome time.

- Long reload time.

Trivia[]
- The Minigun is based off the real life General Electric M134 Minigun.
- The Minigun model in-game has external modifications like an external skeleton, a reversed pistol grip and a left-side carry handle to aid carrying. It also has a picatinny rail to attach optics.
- However, the Minigun in-game lacks any visible magazine and/or an ammo container to store its ammo belt.
- Upon firing the Minigun, the barrel does not revolve.
- It would be impossible for a person to shoulder the Minigun both in-game and in real life, as lacks a buttstock for shouldering the front-heavy weight. In real life, the minigun, excluding its ammunition and/or power source, would weigh around 80 pounds alone. The recoil would also severely damage the user's arm and back muscles as well as the upper torso's muscular system.
- Despite this, the player is still somehow able to shoulder the Minigun in-game. The practicality of such is excused under entertainment reasons.
- When Minigun was first released, it is classified as a Light Machine Gun instead of a Heavy Machine Gun.
- This is later changed in a later update, now classed as a proper HMG.
- In real life, the Minigun's rate of fire could go up to 6000 RPM, which is an equivalent of shooting 100 rounds in one second.
