How to unlock performance parts in nfs Underground 2? ›

Performance part packages are unlocked for purchase as the player progresses through Underground Mode and beats specific events, usually unlocked by completing tournaments. Each package is categorised as Stock, Street (Level 1), Pro (Level 2), Extreme (Level 3), and Unique.

You have to enter the cheats at the "Press Start", or first screen that comes up when you boot up the game. There are many other cheats you should look up as well, such as exclusively customized cars (Chingy, ShineStreet), secret vinyls (Burger King, Best Buy), as well as other goodies.

You unlock a choice of one of the 4 unique wide body kits (Vapor, Mantis, Armageddon, or Apocalypse) in Career mode when you win 11 outrun races on Stage 5. However, to unlock those wide body kits in Quick Race, you simply have to defeat Caleb, and they all become unlocked in Quick Race in Customization mode.
