Does the bulletproof patriot Respawn? ›

Nope. There's only 1 of them in the game. But I wouldn't worry about it if you are not attempting to collect all proofed vehicles (which CAN be done in a single save file)... because you can get a bulletproof/fireproof/explosionproof Cheetah any time you want using the Turismo mission from El Burro.

There's a couple of BP (BulletProof) vehicles in GTA III. One of them, the most obvious, is the Patriot that Ray give you at the end of the mission 'Marked Man' that you do for him. Other special vehicles can be found here. I'm not sure of the exact URL, but search around that site.

Ray enters the airport after telling you to head to the lock-up in Staunton Island. Follow the pink icon on the radar to Newport and drive up to the garage. Inside the lockup are a bulletproof Patriot, rocket launcher, sniper rifle, flame-thrower and $20,000! These items only appear once.

Patriot Locations

The Patriot can be found in Hawick, the highway in Pacific Bluffs, outside the studio in Backlot City, and during offroad races. During Target Practice, one might appear after you're asked to shoot out the tires of cars. It also might appear during Packie's random event.

Armor/Defense

With 100% Armor upgrade and a player inside, the Patriot Mil-Spec can withstand two homing missiles or Explosive rounds from the Heavy Sniper Mk II (blowing up on the next round), but it will be destroyed by a single RPG.

As in Vice City and San Andreas, the Infernus is the fastest car in GTA 3 as well. The same drawbacks apply, though. Infernus can be tough to handle at high speeds. On the bright side, it spawns frequently in common areas on Staunton Island.

The building is located in the neighborhood of Torrington in Staunton Island. It is located next to the AMCo.
