Velineon Brushless Technology and Power Cell LiPo Batteries
Aerodynamic drag increases as the square of speed. That means doubling speed from 20 mph to 40 mph isn’t a matter of applying double the power—you need four times the horsepower. Every additional mph exponentially increases the amount of power required. To deliver it, Traxxas developed Velineon brushless motor technology. Compared to conventional brushed motors, Velineon brushless motors deliver higher rpm and vastly increased horsepower with greater efficiency and superior durability.

High-Speed Control: Traxxas Stability Management

The innovative Traxxas Stability Management® (TSM) system integrates sophisticated sensors into the TQi receiver to provide enhanced control and reduce spinouts on slippery surfaces such as loose sand and smooth concrete. When you’re going for peak straight-line speed, TSM helps you make laser-straight passes and squeeze every mph out of your machine.
TSM is built into the TQi receiver and requires no setup or programming.
TSM dramatically improves handling on loose surfaces for full-power fun.
As you drive, TSM compares your steering commands to the model’s actual attitude and direction and makes corrections from millisecond to millisecond to keep you in control. TSM responds instantly and invisibly—all you notice is that you’re able to drive faster with greater control. You can dial up as much or as little TSM assistance as you like right from the transmitter, or turn TSM off completely and test your skill.
