In the UK there are approximately 850,000 horses with an estimated number of nearly 374,000 horse owning households1. With so many people actively involved with horses either professionally or for pleasure. MSD Animal Health is constantly striving to improve the health, welfare and performance of the UK’s horse population by reducing the risk of illness and disease. This commitment has led to the development of initiatives such asKeeping Britain’s Horses Healthy.
Working with key partners in the veterinary profession, alongside animal health advisors, we provide a wide range of equine solutions including market-leading vaccines, fertility products, pain management products, antibiotics and wormers. We also provide a large variety of support services and campaigns which aim to educate the horse owner on disease areas and reinforce the relationship between the horse owner and their vet; all with the overall aim of improving the health and welfare of the horse.
We have a dedicated equine team, with veterinary surgeons, marketing professionals and equine account managers, who provide a high level of education and support to both veterinary practices and horse owners alike.
