Allergies to Wondercide are very uncommon. There are two types of allergies to cedar trees: respiratory and dermal. Wondercide cedarwood oil is steamed from the tree, so there is no pollen and therefore no respiratory allergens. Users who have severe respiratory allergies to cedar typically report no noticeable effects when using the products on themselves or property.

To test, we recommend you place a small amount on the back of your hand for skin allergy and spray near you in the air for respiratory testing.

The formula has been the same for several years. A while back we improved the scents because customers shared the original scents were a little overpowering. Flea & Tick Spray for Pets + Home is still powered by plant-based ingredients and proven to work on fleas, ticks, and mosquitoes!

Make sure you contact all surfaces to eliminate any existing problems.Lemongrass oil has a naturally yellow tint and may temporarily discolor light fabrics and home surfaces. We recommend a test spray on a small, hidden area prior to full application.For best results, use in conjunction within any outdoor spaces.

Flea & Tick Spray for Pets + Home pet application:Results vary based on number of pets being treated, the size of your pets, and frequency of use. The 16 oz. bottle oftypically lasts 1-3 months depending on your specific needs.

Flea & Tick Spray for Pets + Home indoor application:The 32 oz. bottle oftreats up to 400 square feet, whereas the gallon treats up to 1,500 square feet.

Optimal storage conditions for all products are cool, dry places out of direct sunlight. To determine if your product is still within the best-by date, find the production date on the bottom of the bottle.

... and how does it kill some bugs and not others? Cedarwood oil affects octopamine, which is essential to life for pheromone-driven pests like fleas, ticks, mosquitoes, flies, roaches, ants and hundreds of other insect pests. Octopamine is responsible for regulating heart rate, movement and behavior in pests. Cedar oil blocks the octopamine neurotransmitter receptors in pests, causing pests to be repelled from the area. When contacted, pests suffocate and die. Cedar oil is safe for mammals, birds, fish, amphibians, and beneficial insects, because they do not utilize octopamine neurotransmitters in the same way that the pheromone-driven pests do.

Ethyl lactate is a corn oil byproduct. Ethyl lactate is listed by the US FDA asGenerally Recognized as Safe (GRAS). As the surfactant in,Flea and Tick for Yard+Garden,Outdoor Pest Control for Yard + Gardenand,ethyl lactate allows the cedarwood oil to mix with water. When mixed, the concentrate becomes ready to use.

No. While Wondercide products are oil-based, they dry rather quickly, leaving dogs, cats, furniture, bedding, and flooring grease and stain-free. For specialty fabrics such as satin, leather and suede, we recommend testing a discreet area prior to a full application.

Because of this, the Pets+Home formula is the recommended product for use inside of your home if you are treating for an active infestation. We always advise following label directs when applying our products.

To treat an active flea or tick problem indoors, simply spray all surfaces – flooring, upholstery, rugs, etc. – from the bottle or using acompression sprayerto quickly and easily treat the issue.

The compression sprayer offers a fine mist and continuous spray, making it easy to move throughout your home while applying Flea & Tick Spray for Pets + Home to all surfaces. For homes with cats, be sure to treat any high up places where your feline friend may sleep or play, like bookshelves, cabinets, cat trees, etc.

The new formulation is water based, and home furnishings are made from a variety of materials with different tolerances to moisture. Therefore, after product application, all surfaces should be wiped down until dry as a preventative measure.

Flea & Tick Spray for Pets + Home contains natural essential oils as the active ingredients. While we have four aromatherapeutic fragrances: Cedarwood, Lemongrass, Rosemary, and Peppermint, they each contain 8% active ingredients and are equally effective, so choosing one over the other is just a matter of personal preference.

Because our lemongrass oil is a plant-derived ingredient, the color can vary somewhat from batch to batch.

In very cold weather the spray may also turn milky in color due to the coconut-based ingredients we use. It will revert to its normal color once it returns to room temperature.

Both are strictly cosmetic and do not affect the safety or functionality of the spray.

Use the Flea & Tick collar as a safe alternative to conventional collars to repel and prevent fleas and ticks.

-Remove collar from box and bag inside.
-Remove and discard the inner nylon strip.
-Fasten the collar around pet’s neck. Be sure two fingers fit between collar and neck.
-Trim excess length of collar beyond the buckle.
-Remove collar before bathtime and swimming.
-Replace collar every 3-4 months.

The Flea & Tick collar is designed for use on dogs and cats that are at least 4 months old. For younger pets, use Flea and Tick for Pets + Home spray. The spray is made for dogs and cats of all ages.

The Flea & Tick collar lasts up to 4 months for fleas and ticks, and up to 1 month for mosquitoes.

Yes, it's safe for you and your family to pet, play, or cuddle with your pets as usual! The collar is plant-powered and safe for your pets as well as your family when used as directed.

Yes, the ingredients are plant-powered and safe for use around kids when the collar is used as directed.

Flea & Tick Collar is great at repelling, but doesn’t kill fleas or ticks your pet might already have. To kill fleas and ticks or for an added layer of protection, use Flea & Tick Pets + Home along with the collar.

If you have an active flea infestation, start with a bath using Flea & Tick liquid shampoo, then use Flea & Tick Pets + Home and Flea & Tick Yard + Garden (if you have a yard) as directed to get rid of the issue fast. The collar can be worn while you get an infestation under control and for ongoing repellency up to 4 months.

The collar is water resistant, however it’s not waterproof. Remove the collar before bathtime or swimming, then replace after.

Yes, the collar can be removed and we do recommend that before swimming or a bath. Put the collar back on after your pet’s time in the water.

Yes, the collar offers full body protection and will repel most fleas and ticks most of the time when used as directed. Nothing is 100% effective 100% of the time, so we recommend protecting your yard if you have one with Flea & Tick Yard + Garden and using Flea & Tick Pets + Home as an added layer of protection when pest pressure is high or when you go to dog parks or other areas not protected by Wondercide.

Chewing on the collar without eating it should be fine. Many pet chews are actually made from nylon. If your pet ingests anything that isn't designed for consumption, including part or all of the nylon collar, keep a close eye on them and consult your veterinarian if there are signs of stress.

The cat collar is a breakaway safety design with a notch in the collar that will break apart if excessive tension is applied.

The scent is like a freshly opened candy cane and it will dissipate over time. In comparison to the peppermint scent of our sprays, the sprays have a more vibrant scent than the collars.

Flea & Tick Collar is great at repelling, but doesn’t kill fleas or ticks your pet might already have and when pest pressure is high, you may want an added layer of protection from Flea & Tick Pets + Home. . If you have an active flea infestation, use Flea & Tick Pets + Home and Flea & Tick Yard + Garden as directed to get rid of the issue fast. Flea & Tick Shampoo is recommended at bath time too.

Discourage pets from licking off the spray. While the ingredients are plant-powered and have been approved as food additives, our sprays are not designed or tested for consumption.

Yes! Wondercide Flea & Tick Spray for Pets + Home products are safe for cats when used as directed. We use cat-safe* cedarwood oil, which is properly diluted and doesn't contain phenols or phenolic compounds. This is important because cats do not have the liver enzyme to detoxify phenols found in many essential oils; that's why essential oils have a bad rap among cat crowds. But rest assured, Wondercide products made with cedarwood oil are formulated to be phenol-free. Independent lab tests verify our products don’t contain any phenolic compounds, so you can feel good about using our Flea & Tick Spray on your cats. We work hard to ensure superior product quality, performance and safety. TIP: the 4 oz. spray is perfect for cats because it’s less intimidating than bigger spray bottles and applies the proper amount of solution per spray.

We’re confident you’ll find you may discontinue use of conventional products with regular use of Wondercide. We always recommend testing any new products you introduce to your pets or environment about eight hours prior to a full application to ensure there are no sensitivities.

Wondercide is designed for dogs and cats. Consult your veterinarian to see if they recommend Wondercide for use on your furry friend. If you do use Wondercide, follow the label instructions and start with the spot test noted on the bottle. Always remove small pets from cages or other confined spaces before spraying them or their environment. Put pets back once the spray has settled.

Our outdoor sprays are made with plant-powered ingredients and are safe for birds after the spray is no longer airborne. That’s because birds have more sensitive respiratory systems than most pets.If you are treating and have chickens or other poultry in your yard, do not spray Wondercide directly on or near your birds. Remove them from the area being treated, then reintroduce about 1-2 hours after application.The treatment will control fleas, mites, or other outdoor pests in the environment. The spray is safe for grazing animals, including chickens and wild birds who eat bugs treated with Wondercide.

Wondercide wasn't designed with horses in mind. Check with your vet to be sure our solutions are right for your animal. With vet reassurance, many of our customers do use .

Yes! Wondercide products are safe for pregnant women when used as directed. Insect Repellent can be safely used on expecting mothers and Flea & Tick Spray for Pets + Home can be used around them. Consult your physician regarding any specific sensitivities you may have.

Some pets, like some people, can be sensitive to certain ingredients. (Think peanut or shellfish allergies.) If you suspect your pet is sensitive to Wondercide Flea & Tick Spray for Pets + Home, rinse him or her fully in cool water to wash off the solution. Consult your veterinarian if conditions persist.

We offer free shipping on orders $49 or more to all 50 states, including Alaska and Hawaii. We do not ship to U.S. territories at this time.

The free shipping option is economy shipping and may be sent via USPS or FedEx Ground Economy at the company’s discretion.

Many orders ship the same or next day and select orders ship within a few days. Typically, orders that contain a product on backorder will ship as a complete order when all items are available, unless a special exception is made. Any order placed after 12:00pm CT for USPS, after 3:00pm CT for any other carrier, or on Saturday/Sunday will begin processing the following business day in the order of receipt.

Yes! Once you lock in your subscription, the cost of your products and shipping will not change unless you adjust or cancel your subscription.

Head over to your account page and click theManage Subscriptionbutton. From there, you can change your billing date, how often you receive shipments, the quantity of items you receive per shipment, and more.

You can edit a subscription’s particulars, but not add an item to an existing subscription. To add a new subscription for additional items, just go to the item’s product page and select Subscribe & Save. Choose how often you’d like to receive the item, then check out as you normally would.

Before your next scheduled Subscribe & Save shipment, head over to your account page and click theManage Subscriptionbutton. Find the product on the list you’d like to stop receiving and click the Cancel button. That’s it.

Yes, and no. Sale discounts cannot be applied to Subscribe & Save orders. The great news is that Subscribe & Save gives you a 5% discount throughout the year and your savings really add up. During a sale, for any products you are not subscribed to, you may place a new order to take advantage of the sale pricing. If you’d like to get the sale pricing on products you are subscribed to, an option is to pause your subscription on those items, then place a new order manually. To pause your subscription, head on over to your account page and choose Manage Subscription to make changes. After the sale, your paused subscription will be waiting for you on your account page so you can re-start it again.

It's possible to change many settings for an existing subscription, but not the shipping method. If you no longer love the shipping option you first selected, go ahead and cancel your current subscription, then start a new one with the shipping option you prefer. To do that, go to the product page for the item(s) you would like to include in the subscription, choose Subscribe & Save for the item, then check out as you normally would. Be sure to choose the new shipping method you prefer.

Skip is just that. It skips your next upcoming shipment but then continues your subscription afterward. Pause puts your subscription on hold until you decide to re-instate it.
