Find out exactly how to unlock the massive Goliath Race in Forza Horizon 5, and get the Long Gone Achievement for winning it.

The Goliath is described as the "Ultimate Horizon Mexico event" in Forza Horizon 5, and it's hard to disagree when it consists of a huge 55KM sized circuit lap around the entire map. It takes around ten minutes to complete, but rewards 40,000 XP, and unlocks the "Long Gone" Achievement for winning the event.
It is not available from the start, and players will have to put in a little bit of work to unlock it. However, it shouldn't take too long to get, meaning players can unlock the Goliath Event in Forza Horizon 5 pretty early on if they feel confident enough that they can win it.

How to Unlock the Goliath Race in Forza Horizon 5
To unlock the Goliath race in Forza Horizon 5, players must have earned at least 4 Adventure Chapter points to unlock every Event in the Horizon Mexican Mainstage category. So, players must unlock "Welcome to Mexico", "On a Wing and a Prayer", and "Vocho", in that order, before they are able to unlock "The Goliath".
To earn Adventure Chapter points, players must earn Accolade Points by completing various challenges across the Forza Horizon 5 map. There are over 1,800 Accolades to complete, and most of them are pretty generous with what they ask players to do.
Simply continue to take part in solo races, attempt PR Stunts, do weekly challenges, and play with friends in multiplayer in Forza Horizon 5 to easily earn more Accolade Points and unlock the Goliath race. The full list of Accolades can be accessed by pausing the game and choosing "Accolades" from the "Campaign" tab. Some will be locked until those types of Events are unlocked from the Adventure Chapter list.
Where to Find the Goliath Race in Forza Horizon 5
Once The Goliath Adventure Chapter has been unlocked, it can be found beside the middle of the Riviera Maya beach, the furthest point east of the map, in the middle. Either drive to it, or use fast travel, and hit X on Xbox consoles to start the long race.
To ensure the Long Gone Achievement in Forza Horizon 5 is unlocked the first time, go into "Settings" from the "Campaign" tab in the pause menu, and select "Difficulty". Set the Drivatar Difficulty down to Tourist, and press the Menu button on consoles to save the changes.
Pick the fastest, easiest car to handle that players own, or buy a good car in Forza Horizon 5, and the Long Gone Achievement should unlock after winning the Goliath race in roughly ten minutes.
