How do I know if my assessment is good? ›

Assessment focuses on measuring learning progress and achievement, while evaluation focuses on making judgments and decisions based on collected data. Assessment is primarily formative in nature, providing ongoing feedback, while evaluation is primarily summative, providing an overall judgment.

Although the terms assessment and evaluation are often used synonymously, they are in fact distinctive and different. The intent of assessment is to measure effectiveness; evaluation adds a value component to the process.

Answer: Evaluation is a process that critically examines a program. It involves collecting and analyzing information about a program's activities, characteristics, and outcomes. Its purpose is to make judgments about a program, to improve its effectiveness, and/or to inform programming decisions.

Failing an assessment center doesn't mean the end of your job prospects with that particular company. Many organizations appreciate candidates who are persistent and demonstrate a commitment to self-improvement.
