Ian,GTRs need quite a bit spent on them to make them good for skidding on top of the fact they already cost plenty more than GTSTs
fancy gimmick that affect how power is transfer to the front wheel are wank.
To do it properly you would need an RB25 gbox, remove front shafts, modded lock etc etc

Mr barnes has one that he has converted but shock horror that do has had engine trouble and he only chose it cos it was sitting there doing nowt
I would strongly sway you to just get a 32 GTST and weld the diff then mod from there as you skill level develops
think of how many 1000s of pics of 32s you have taken at DWYB - id say 99% of them were not GTRs
does that not tell you sumting bluv
when GTRs go bang it cost ££££s - when GTSTs pop spare RB20 can be got for about £300
