Iron is found most abundantly on earth. It has multifarious uses. It is used as constructional and structural material. It is used in many parts of the world for railings, furniture and as utensils too.
Though iron is found abundantly, it is not found independently. It is found in the form of its oxides in the underground rocks, these are called as iron ores.
